PRESENT THOSE WHO OPPOSE YOU TO HIM

hild of God, do you have someone in your life that is tormenting you and oppressing you? Are you really distressed about this? First, check to see if your pride or your own defense of yourself is too much in place, instead of allowing your Father to come into the action. What do I mean by this? If you are contending with this person or persons, then you may be doing so because of pride in your life. You may say, "How dare they speak about me like that!" Or, you may be attempting to battle with this person in the flesh and not in the Spirit of God. If you are offended, remember the words of the Lord Jesus, "blessed is he whosoever shall not be offended in me!"(Matthew 11:6) Again, the scripture says, "put on the Lord Jesus Christ." (Romans 13:14 NKJV) This means that you have allowed your sensitivity and self to get into the picture. If you will present this person to the Lord properly, and refuse to allow resentment, bitterness and revenge to get into the picture, the Lord God will work to correct them on your behalf. God will not show up for you if you are prideful and think that they deserve punishment from your own hand. Pray thus, "Father, in the great name of the Lord Jesus, I remove my hand from this. I bless this person who has 'persecuted me and spitefully used me!' I pray that they may be saved, delivered and restored by your power. I do not wish them harm or to burn in hell. Instead, I pray that you will allow them to see the evil of their oppression and repent, in the name of Jesus!" Child of God if you will follow this prayer and heart of God in this matter, you will be amazed and blessed at how the Holy Spirit gets into the action on your behalf! Trust this to your Father, and not to your own reasoning. You will be indeed blessed!

Father, in the name of Jesus I suspect that you allowed this person or persons to oppress me to test me to see if I would walk this out in the Lord Jesus or in my own fleshly way! I pray that I may pass the test. I have no more time to waste on petty jealousies and prideful ways. Deliver me of this in the name of the Lord Jesus, amen!
