Living Under an Open Heaven

The highest plan of God for our lives is to bring us to a place by His Holy Spirit where we live continuously under an open heaven. What does this

MY STRENGTH IS IN THE LORD GOD

November 19

C
hild, are you a strong person?  What do I mean by this?  Do you sometimes feel weak and vulnerable? Do you sometimes feel that your faith and strength are slipping away from you a bit?  This is normal for you. I told Paul, "In weakness, my strength is made perfect." (II Corinthians 12:9) In other words, it is only when you lose grip or control over your own life and where it is going, and powerfully surrender that right to your Father, that you find the strength from heaven that you need to live your life before me successfully.  If you are strong in your control and management of your life and destiny, you will not find my strength and leadership necessary.  This causes me to back off and allow you to take control.  It goes downhill from there.  I must demonstrate to you that fleshly rule cannot produce spiritual, God-blessed results.  If you are weak at times, rejoice and declare, "I need you and your strength, Father. I receive my guidance, blessings, encouragement and faith to meet my day from heaven, by your mighty hand, Father."  This is such a healthy and good confession that you should repeat it several times. When you are self-sufficient spiritually, and rely on your wits and personal control over matters, you signal your Father in Heaven that you think you can handle things.  This is serious and dangerous to you.  It is not that your Father wants you to be a robot, pulled around with your mind "out of gear."  On the contrary, when you lean heavy on the arm of the Lord and entrust yourself to His Holy Spirit to guide you, then you have the privilege of tapping into the most holy, powerful mind in the universe (anywhere)- the mind of the Lord God, your Father.  You decide, do you wish to depend on the greatly limited accumulation of your own knowledge and understanding, or do you wish to lean heavy on the presence and knowledge of your Father in Heaven?  If your car broke down, would you like to stay by the side of a burning hot roadway until you "figured out" how to fix it, or would you prefer it towed to an expert who could take care of you quickly?  You get the picture!  Now relax, and repent for depending on your own wits and knowledge alone.  Approach your Father in the name of his Son Jesus and turn it all over to Him.  He will come to you swiftly, remove your burden and guide you powerfully from this day forth.  Lean heavy on Him, He is waiting for you to do that.  Bless you child!

Prayer

Father, you are right, I have felt weak and vulnerable at times.  It is your Holy Spirit that has pulled away the comfort to allow me to see how far down I will go without leaning on your strength and power.  I have learned my lesson.  I will arise and go to my Father.  I will call upon you continually to be very present and powerful in my life, imparting to me the grace and strength to live before you the life of faith and joy.  Thank you for reminding me of this Father, in Jesus’ name, amen!
