SALVATION THE FREE AND WONDERFUL GIFT

eloved Sons and Daughters, I want you to know plainly that I love you very much! Part of this love for you is for me to give you the immediate status as sons and daughters of God by your new birth experience in the Lord Jesus Christ. You are no longer strangers from the heavenly family, but you have been brought near to God by the application of the precious blood of Jesus over your mind, body and soul. This is great news for you and your brothers and sisters! As you know, your name has been written in the Lamb's Book of Life. It is indelibly written in the blood of Jesus. No one can destroy that Book. Isn't that a blessing! Now, I am going to ask you to do something. I want you to live, from this day forth, on the understanding that you are not earning your eternal reward of heaven. That reward was bought and paid for at Calvary's cross. It is "not of works lest any man should boast." (Ephesians 2:9) In other words, you cannot earn your position with your Father it is a gift to you. Rejoice, Child of God! Some of my children think of themselves as "second class" Christians. This term does not exist in my vocabulary for you. You are ALL "first class" children of the King. "It is your Father's good pleasure to give you the Kingdom," (Luke 12:32) as my word tells you! Well, what are you going to do with that information? Are you going to act like a child when you stumble and sin? Are you going to throw away your confidence in the Lord when you have trouble in this life? I don't think so! Say to your Father, "Lord, I did not buy and pay for my salvation. It is a work of grace and love on your part. I cannot see my worth to you as you see it, but you tell me that I am” "the apple the eye.” (Psalm 17:8) This must be important to you, for me to claim my inheritance, so I will do just that. From here on, I am a "first class" citizen in the family of God. When I pray, you hear me immediately, and are released in your love to heal, comfort, cheer and bless me above the inhabitants of the earth who do not know nor claim your name. I am truly blessed Father." What an excellent prayer! Now child, act it out, take no negativism about yourself. It would be sin for you to hate or reject yourself when your Father has pledged so sincerely His own love for you.

Father, thank you. I am truly blessed to be called the "seed (child) of the righteous." (Proverb 11:21) I will seek to know who I am in Christ Jesus. I will promote and bless others who are members of the household of faith through Jesus Christ my Lord, amen!
