FIGHT BACK WITH THE WEAPON OF THE WORD

C
hildren of God, do you know how to increase your faith steadily day
by day? Much of this increase can be achieved by good confessions
toward your Father. If you will take the promises of the Bible and
look toward heaven, repeating them in the form of a confession, it
will bless you with increased faith, peace and joy from your Father.
Remember, when you speak the revealed word of your Father aloud you
both speak it aloud as a practice, and then you hear it in your own
ears. You have made a declaration and confession into the atmosphere
so that any other listening ears (the Enemy) are put on alert to your
confession and acceptance of the promises of God. For instance, when
the word of God says, "You will never leave me nor forsake me,"
(Hebrews 13:5NKJV) we then declare and confess, "You, O Lord,
will not leave me or forsake me." Then personalize the scripture
by saying, "Father, I am under attack from (specify what you
discern is the attacking enemy such as: frustration, fear, unbelief,
doubt, lust, unholy wrath or anger, envy, strife, self-destruction,
self-negation, etc.) this enemy of hell." Then say, "Father,
you will not forsake me to this spirit of (fear, anger, lust) I trust
that you will deliver me from this evil right now in and through the
powerful and wonderful name of Jesus my Lord and Savior."
Children if you will fight back using the word of God you will
activate the presence and power of the Holy Spirit on your behalf.
Remember, when you give in to the Devil, he takes it as a sign of
weakness in you. He sees it as an invitation to him to take you to
the next level of attack by his evil spirit. Cut him off early with
skillful use of the word of your confession in my word. You have been
commanded by your Father to "be strong in the Lord and in the
power of His might." (Ephesians 6:10) Now, say, "I am
strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might!" Make it
personal and powerful, and the force of your confession and the
strength of the Holy Spirit will be combined to shake the devil to
his foundations. He will flee from you as you get better and better
at this. Your Father loves you!
Prayer
Savior, I am encouraged to fight back to the point where it becomes second nature to do so. I am learning Lord. Thank you for Divine instructions to "fight the good fight." (II Timothy 4:7) Thank you Father that some-day it will be all over and my reward will be a "Crown of Righteousness," (II Timothy 4:8) from the mouth of the apostle. It is worth the fight! The victory is coming!
