STOP NEGATIVE CONFESSIONS AND BELIEFS

hild of God, do you have self-destructive or self-negating
tendencies? I don't mean just thoughts of suicide, but actions and
words that are hurtful toward yourself? From where do you think they
come? Quite frankly there is contained in the sacrifice of the Lord
Jesus on the cross full payment for all past sins and failures in the
life of the believer! That's right, full payment! Without realizing
it my children often go about daily repaying themselves for past sins
and failures. They think, and sometimes say, "I am so stupid;”
or they say, “I wish I could just leave this world and go on to
heaven” (a death wish); saying also, “others may do well,
but I am sure to blow it every time; I wish I could just slap myself
sometimes I am so dumb." These expressions are a form of
attempted repayment for one’s past errors. Some people have a
hard time forgiving themselves, and thus are always angry at
themselves and wanting others to agree with them about their own
negativisms. There is some pleasure in attempting to repay
themselves, so they repeat the procedure. What is really going on?
First, if these self-destructive, self-negating actions are going on
in you, it is a true sign that you need to take this to the cross
effectively. You have not forgiven yourself, nor are you loving
yourself as the Master commands you--- "love thy neighbor, as
thyself," (Matthew 22:38) He says in the Bible. It is important
that you come to love yourself and fully forgive yourself, putting
all past sins and mistakes "under the blood of Jesus." You
are being paralyzed and kept from moving forward in the Lord by this
action. Get it right child!
Prayer
Father, you know that I am repaying myself day by day a bit here and a bit there for some of the sick and evil choices that I made years ago. I pray that you will forgive me for such offenses against someone that you love so dearly (me). I have sinned strongly against myself. I have forgotten that the power of the cross reaches all the way to my inward person to redeem it and cause me to forget the past and move forward in the love and mercy of the Lord Jesus Christ. Father, I have slandered the power of the blood by repaying myself for what the Master fully paid for two thousand years ago. It truly is sin, and I sincerely repent of this sin and will stop doing it in the future. I hereby declare that I love myself and bless you for revealing this sin to me. I am forgiven this very moment in the marvelous name of the Lord Jesus, my Savior, amen!
