hildren have you ever burned yourself badly? How terribly it hurts! The pain is just about unbearable! Will you believe me if I tell you that the worst pain, physically and emotionally, that you have suffered, I have allowed myself to experience that pain alongside you? When your Father sent His Son into the world it was for taking upon himself the pain and sins of the whole world. As He took it upon himself, He experienced directly what you were feeling. By that Jesus bore upon himself the unbearable pain just for you! Not only did He bear the excruciating pain, but he defeated and overcame all pain and evil that could ever come against any human on the earth for the rest of the time that life upon the earth endures. "Greater love hath no man than this that He lay down his life for his friends." (John 15:13) That means that in seeing you in pain and suffering as the results of your and other peoples' sin, I took that pain upon myself, and with that substitution I pronounced you forgiven and freed from the threat of suffering from the results forever. What a blessing for you! Children, at some point in your walk of faith in the Lord Jesus, I want you to truly believe in my love for you. I want you to trust that you can lay your head on your pillow at night and sleep deeply, defeating the fears and insecurities that threaten you. You are my beloved, I sent the best that I had in heaven, the Lord Jesus to bear upon His own body the stripes, and wounds that allow you to go free and live without the threat of death and destruction over your lives. Be at peace, rest again in the love that your Heavenly Father has for you. Peace!

Prayer

Father, I must be reminded of the powerful offering that you made for me as unworthy as I am. I thank you that if you live (forever) you uphold the offering of your Son Jesus to sustain me and my loved ones in your divine favor and blessings. You go way out of the way to rescue me from depression and fear! You strengthen me in the moment that I am most vulnerable and in danger of failing in my walk with you. Thank you, Father in Jesus’ name, amen!
