PERFECT PEACE IN FOCUSING ON THE LORD JESUS

y Beloved Sons/Daughters, it is commonly reported to me that many of you are living in continual fear of the Evil One. Some of you were frightened as children of what he could do to you. Others experience an unhealthy fear and, some are even terrorized by him. This should not be true of you, especially when you have been blessed with the great blood washing experience of regeneration. Still, you say: "I can't help it. Just the thought of the Evil One makes my blood run cold!" Now, here is what you are to do: Turn to Isaiah 26:3-4. Meditate upon this passage over and over. Repeat it aloud. Now focus on the person and name of the Lord Jesus. Tell Him, "Perfect love casteth out fear."(I John 4:18) Also call a man or woman of God and get prayer (preferably in person). "One will put a thousand (of the enemy) to flight (make the devil run), two will put ten thousand to flight." (Deuteronomy 32:30) You should not handle this alone. Beloved, there is no good reason that you should live in continual fear of the enemy. In fact, the Father says in His word, "Fear not him (the devil) who is able to destroy the body, but rather fear (and reverence) Him who is able to destroy both body and soul in hell." (Matthew 10:28) What are you going to do with that word? You are commanded to cease fearing the devil and fear only God in Heaven. You are safe when you hold to a healthy fear and reverence of your Father. Your Father is not happy to see his children beaten down and cowering before the Evil One. In fact, you are called the "righteousness of God in Christ Jesus." (Romans 3:22) What are you going to do with that phrase? Now, lift your hands toward heaven (do it child!), say aloud, "Father I declare my freedom from this evil fear that has bound me! I call upon the Father of the Lord Jesus whose blood covers me now, to release me from this bondage and set me free, in the name of Jesus." Keep up the prayer and praise, and you will be visited by the Holy Spirit to release you from this fear. Blessings!

Father in Heaven, you sent the great champion of my soul, the Lord Jesus to defeat and ultimately to destroy the Evil One and all his devils in the Lake of Fire. In Jesus’ holy name I trust myself to you and will walk in the light as He Jesus is in the light. Help me, and I will never again fear the Enemy. In Jesus’ holy name, amen!
