FEAR FOREVER CAST OUT
February 10
C
hild of the King, do you sometimes suffer with unexplainable and
persistent fears? Do you tend to worry more than some people around
you? If this is the case, I want to help you to get set free.
Remember my promise to you, "Perfect love casts out fear?"
(I John 4:18 NKJV) The word of God indicates that the person who
walks in fear "has not been made perfect in love." (I John
4:18 NKJV) What does that mean to you? It means that when fear grips
you, then you should reaffirm aloud your love for your Father, and
invite Him to come to you and break the authority of this fear. If
you will make an offering of love and blessing to your Father at the
point of the fear revealing itself, you will be empowered in that
moment to begin the process of deliverance from that bondage.
Remember another word from the Scriptures, "Whenever I am
afraid, I will put my trust in the Lord." (Psalm 56:3) What does
this scripture verse mean to you? It means that when you are
experiencing this fear, you must then and there refuse to bow down to
it, but you must treat it as though it is a living thing and rebuke
and resist it. Turn yourself immediately over to the Lord Jesus.
"Submit yourselves therefore to God, resist the Devil and he
will flee from you!"(James 4:7) In other words, in the past, you
have bowed to the fear and it has beaten you down. Now at the point
of the fear or worry you can pray the following: "Father, it is
a sin for me to worry and for that sin I now repent! It is an evil
thing for me to allow fear to rule me! In the name of Jesus Christ, I
submit myself to you, and I resist this fear and worry in His
precious name and I call upon you O Lord to come to me and break its
authority over me once and for all, in the name of Jesus!" Tell
me child, do you think that your Father will sit idly upon His throne
and do nothing for you when you seriously call out to Him? I have
urged you to "call unto God, and I (He) will answer you and show
you great and mighty things which you do not know." (Jeremiah
33:3 NKJV) Your Father wants you to walk in high confidence and joy
and not to live in fear, doubt and worry. Now, what are you going to
do about this? I urge you in the name of Jesus to stand against your
fears and to say, "Father, let this be the last day that these
sick, evil things rule over me!!" If you are filled with fears
and are distracted from the work of the Kingdom by them, you will be
ineffective, weak and powerless. There is too much work to be done
for your Father's kingdom for you to shrink back in fear. Rise up and
decide to press into the land of great victory, and you will triumph.
And remember, your Father watches over you and loves you deeply!
Prayer
Father, too long I have listened to the voice of fear and doubt. No more! Speak to me Lord and I will allow your great love to envelope me and filter into every corner of my soul and mind. I am happiest when I know that you lead me and infill me with your Holy Spirit of boldness and courage. I know that you hear me Father, in the name of your Son Jesus, amen!
