The highest plan of God for our lives is to bring us to a place by His Holy Spirit where we live continuously under an open heaven. What does this

hild of God, do you like it when you hear clearly and know with
comfort that your Father is directing and speaking into your life?
Remember, Jesus says, "my sheep hear my voice, and another they
will not follow." (John 10:5) This is one of the most powerful
assurances to you that you do hear His voice, and you should rest
comfortably in that knowledge. My children who worry if they are
hearing their own voices or the voice of the Enemy often have a
history of attempting to secure their own lives, callings and
ministry in the Holy Spirit rather than trusting themselves to the
oversight of the Lord. In other words, many of my children have never
learned to release themselves lovingly into my care and oversight.
You have too tight of a control over your own destiny and life.
Relax, let go and purify your motives, humble yourselves, drop all
competition with others, trust simply as a child, and your Father
will train you to rest in His love and guidance. Do you think for one
moment that your Father has surrendered you to confusion, fear, and
dishonor? Not a chance! However, if you want everything to go your
way, you do not understand the meaning of "let him deny himself
(you), take up his cross, and follow me." (Luke 9:23 NKJV) The
trouble with many of my children who are continually stumbling in
confusion and going in wrong directions is due to the opposite of
that scripture--- you are confirming yourself, not "denying,"
and not taking up your cross and following Him. I am not being too
hard on you, Child of God, I am simply instructing you on how to hear
from and walk more closely with your God. The best form of guidance
from your Father takes place as you quietly and humbly say to Him:
"Father, I trust myself, and all my life to you. I deny my own
will, and I confess that your Holy Spirit will guide me into your
paths of love and obedience." When you confess these things and
quietly and humbly submit yourself to the Holy Spirit, you are far
more clearly susceptible to be guided closely and with the blessings
of God as the result. You argue, "I have made some terrible
mistakes in choices about following God." Child, you grow
through mistakes. Learn what you have done wrong. Ask your Father to
teach you, and He will! Now, stop fretting over past mistakes as
though you are going to still live in that place of errors. Get up,
repent if you need to and say, "Father, I will hear from you and
you will guide my footsteps! I am going to remain faithful to your
word and walk in love with others," in Jesus' name.
Prayer
Father, in the name of Jesus I thank you for the holy, wise, person of your Holy Spirit. I am going to follow you till the last day of my life. I submit myself to your guidance. If I fail in some way, I will begin over and continue in submission and brokenness to walk in your light, in Jesus’ holy name, amen!
