It is greatly important that we put our trust in the Lord. This does not just come automatically in the Christian’s life. It begins by God’s faithfulness to us over the years. Trust is on a deeper level than faith. Faith is created as we witness God’s mighty power in our lives. We reach out and grasp His every word and make it our own. Trust is deeper because it is developed over the years in the hearts of God’s children as we recount and recall the mighty deeds and actions of God. We rejoice in this recounting and as a reward, God makes a deposit of trust in our hearts to believe Him for anything and everything.
