COMMENTARY
On a recent trip to Israel I was impressed by the Holy Spirit to write this poem. I believe that someday the Lord Jesus will return to the Mount of Olives and He will walk down the valley to the Eastern Gate of the city of Jerusalem. He will then break through that gate to re-enter the city to rule the world from there.
Mount Zion of Jerusalem attracts millions of visitors each year as it is termed the Mountain of God. His Shekinah Light is that which shines forth from Himself to bedazzle the eyes of any who will behold His glory. From Jerusalem that light will shine from morn to noon, to night. And will signal all to seek Him on His mountain and turn their hearts to worship Him.
Every true believer in Christ rejoices in the thought of the arrival of the day when His Majesty will be clear for all to see. We will sing and praise and greatly rejoice! Even so, come quickly Lord Jesus!
